I have spent the whole day on job applications. Is there anything more boring, frustrating, or tedious? What do they want? What should I highlight?
Or in my case, why have you not held a full-time job in more than 20 years? Do I tell them I am a mother of nine? That my mother lives with me? Wow, that's enough to send anyone walking....but if I add that while I was raising nine children, I managed to get a MBA, then a PhD, and work part time, get five of my children off to college...but how to address that in a cover letter?
We had the youth activity here last night and had lots of fun. Maria made dinner: fajitas and rice. She did a really good job. And nice for mom to have a night off.
